Does Exchange 2000 handle the open realy issue better/worse/same then exchange 5.5

I dont think Exchange 2000 does have any problem with open relay. I had an open relay in exchange 5.5 but since I upgraded to exchange 2000 I am not having any open relay problem at all. But I would also like to know how exchange 2000 handles the open relay issue.
Check your SMTP Server in your management console for Exchange. Right click the SMTP server your interested in and check the access tab. I don't know what exchange 5.5 had, never used it. But Exchange 2000 allows you to control relaying for your SMTP server. You can allow relaying for authenticated users, you can allow anonymous access etc.
