Open Perl IDE is now out of Beta. It's finally up to version 1.0

I guess I haven't been paying attention. Because it was released in May 2002.

I use it all the time. It helps with debugging code. If it wasn't for Open Perl IDE, I would be asking a lot more questions here on tek-tips. But since it allows me to walk through the code and watch the values of the variables as it runs. I can figure out what's going on in my code and make it work.

You can find it at
I just use it, I have no connections with them. [wiggle]

I just found Open Perl IDE today and found it very helpful.
A star for you :)

Thanks Sascha.

I think you'll find it a lot easier to write your perl scripts and debug them.

And did I mention it's FREE?

It's definitely a goodie, didn't know it was out of Beta though -- thanks tgus. Mike

Mike,

I'm glad I could update you on it.
Since I think I learned about Open Perl IDE from you!
Maybe between us we should get a post started as to some of the features of Open Perl IDE. Maybe I can learn some things I don't know yet.

What do you think?
