hi how would i set up outlook to autonatically open if i boot up a pc and then log onto network
os = 98 & 2000 pc

right click on your start button and go to explore. Set your path to all users on Windows 2000 (no need for this in Windows 98), then double click programs, double click startup and put a shortcut from any program into this folder. The program will load when windows starts.

is there a way to password protect access to outlook account, i noticed it on a pc where when windows boots up and opens outlook a password is required in order to get into the account
i just need to know the process please

I have Outlook Express installed and don't know how is it with Outlook. For protecting your account in Outlook Express go to:
File -> Indentities -> Manage Identities
Select the account you want to protect and press Properties, you will see a checkbox which says: Require a password.
