Open flash quiz from director movie

Hi all I would like some assistance with this: I have a Director movie with buttons
when I click the buttons I would like to open Flash quizzes. Each quiz was created using
a quiz software so each flash quiz is created to work along with some other supporting
files stored in the same published folder. I tried to import the flash quiz into the Director
movie but it does not work. Can you advise me on how I can open these flash quizzes from Director.

If you mean you want to open your SWF externally then use Buddy API "baOpenFile()" command.

I would like to import the flash quiz onto the stage and still allow the quiz to access the xml file it requires to work. I tried to import the quiz as a cast member with the 'Link to external file option' but it did not work. Any ideas?

Flash Member in Director should work just like the one in a browser including reading an XML file. If you're using Flash 8 then you need to update the Flash Xtra though: <

Anyone knows how i can go about doing it

Director has built-in command "open()":
[tt]_player.open({stringDocPath,} stringAppPath)[/tt]

Have a look at BuddyAPI as well.
