Hi,
I am running ARCServe 2000 Advanced Ed. on NT Server SP6A with the Open Files Agent, Open files agent is only installed and registered on the ArcServe Server - I am still getting sharing file violations - does this mean I need to install and reg. the open files agent on all server I am backing up ?

Never Mind - figured it out, Open files agent needs to be on all servers being backed up.

Just as interest if you do not want all those 'Open File' messages in your logs run the open file client installed on your pc. Select the correct server and the 'Configure' button followed by the 'Clients' tab and take the tick out of 'Enable Extended features'.
