I've looked all over the forums to no result. Is there any way to open an Access report and have it export to Powerpoint? Snapshots don't work for me since I want the users to be able to manipulate the slide as they see fit, and they can't do that to an image. So far all I know how is to create a ppt file from Access using OLE Automation. But populating the ppt with 70-80 pages of reports data is something I have not seen. Can anyone help?

I'm using Access 2000, and Office 2000. My frame of reference is Java Beans and JSPs and HTML where I can open up HTML pages with tables and such in Microsoft Word or Excel, with formatting and data completely intact. I thought that Microsoft Access could do an even more seamless export/transfer of data to Microsoft Powerpoint, since the same company created both.

I'm not sure how much help this will be but I use ScreenPrint32 to capture pages and save to the clipboard. From there you can paste into most applications. However this only does one page at a time.

Another option you may want to play with is to export the report into the SNAP format. This will create a file of the report but I'm not sure you can import the SNAP files into PowerPoint.

Another option (probably best for you). Try exporting the report into HTML file type. This will allow you to open the report page by page into PowerPoint.

Maybe these ideas will give you another way to look at the problem?

Hope this helps.
