I have a 406v2 with aprox 200 users half of them are IP station. Making changes is extremly slow example changing an ip ext setting takes over 30 seconds once the change is executed (not doing a merge config just clicking ok)Merging seems slow but not to bad.
A 406v2 can have max 190 users !!!
But that should not slow up manager

Just tried with a new offline config
When i do this it takes 15 seconds before the change is done
This has to do with the users that are to much !!!
You are over the limit
Solve that and your problems are gone !!!

Thx guys removing the validation is making a huge diff. We have several users in the config that can be blown away. time for these folks to upgrade to a 500 or move into an ecg product.
One thing tho
190 users is the documented capacity of a 406? I thought it was more?

190 is the maximum number of users that is "supported". Reality is that you can have as many as you have RAM to house. The processing speed of the PC also makes a significant difference when validation is active. Faster PC = faster validation process.
