Hey there,

I'm looking for a way to open a file named c:\File.doc and makes this way active, this has to be done so that I can delete the header and footer in the Active window. Does somebody know how I can open a file and make it active? Or does somebody have a script already that does the same?

Thanks in Advance,

Neovecchi

I understand with what you mean of opening a file, but I do not understand with what you mean by making it active.

What is the ACTIVE WINDOW?? Is it a form with a text box?

try this...

Dim d As Double
d = Shell("c:\file.doc", vbMaximizedFocus)

that will open the file for you
