Open Access form record from link

Hello,

Is there a way to get a specific record from microsoft access from a link.
By this I mean
I lave a webpage, I each user can type a number and that number becomes a link what I need it to be able to open an ms access web form and that the webform takes me to the record from the link
or is there a better way to handle this?

Are you talking about ASP and ASp.net usage kind of stuff or if you could make it a little bit more expanatory it would be helpful

that is what I am not so sure about could I use ASP to do this?
or would it be VB?

I suggest ASP to do this as this is more ASP concerned. but you will be using VB code in ASp too. I am not much into ASP. sorry
