I'm having trouble opening the Access database window maximized after I have resized it smaller, and closed the database. If I open it after resizing smaller, the database window opens with the size and location in the main window as when it was closed. If I maximize the database window, and close and open the database, the window doesn't open maximized as I expected. I don't want to maximize the window manually each time I open the database, nor do I want to maximize it with code upon opening the database. What am I missing?

When you open the Access, maximize the main window.
Then open your database with File->Open. This will show up in small window.
Now without maximizing it, just drag the corners of that window to the extent you want...so that all the contents are visible.
Now again close Access. This time the status of the open windows will be saved automatically. Now when you open it next time, you will get it set as per the last settings.

Sharing the best from my side...
