Hi!!!!

Is there a way in SQL Server using Stored Procedures to open a table that was created in Visual Fox?

I know that I can do it with DTS but with Stored Procedures by code?

This is because I'm using DTS, but I have to do it manually because the Scheduler Automatically is not working, I don't know why, when I start the DTS file by myself it works but like a Scheduled Job always fail.... ups

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Look at the openquery function in books online.

The dts probably fails because of a permissions issue. All schedule jobs inherit the security of the login that the sql agent service uses. That login probably does not have permissions to the directory or other server where the VFP tables are.

Hello,

You should also make sure that you have the same ODBC connections on the server that you have on your desktop. This can also cause a scheduled DTS to fail.
