I know this is not a permission issue with sql server. I am an ODBC connection setup to SQL server using nt authentication. If I use this ODBC in Crystal, then mark "trusted connection" it hangs for a bit, then shows the database I chose, then dbo, then a bunch of stored procedures, no tables or view. I have verified that tables and views are selected in Crystal. I have also tried this on 2 different crystal installs (version 9).
If I use the same ODBC within excel (logged into workstation as same user), I can import data and see all the tables and views and can return all the data into excel (thus I have the permissions).
What is wrong with Crystal?
This is only an issue within Crystal.
