hi,

Iam using Crystal Reports 8.0 on Windows 2000 server.

My report details are showing on the second page rather than on first page. The first page has only the Report Header & the small page footer. The entire one page contains only the Report Heading.

How do I set the layout in such a way that the page can contain the deatils also.

Thanks in advance.

Right click each section and select format section and see if the New Page After or New Page Before is checked, or if the X 2 is red (which would mean that there's a formula in there so click it if it's red).

If in your report design you have inserted a Group, with the option to "Keep Group Data Together", perhaps the Group Data exceeds what can be placed on the first page because of the Report Header.

In the Design view of your report, Right Click in the gray area of the Group and select "Change Group". Although you will NOT change the group you will change the way it displays. Click on the Option Tab and uncheck the "Keep Group Together". Then if you'd like check the "Repeat Group Header on Each Page".
