Hi Guys

Let me break down the story for you. I have a Win2k server that had the wrong VGA driver. I went on to update the driver and this was working. Previously users complained that they couldn't log onto it ''Normally''.
After installing the VGA drivers I ran Windows Update.

The server worked for about 2 weeks. After that when you logon to the domain it authenticates then brings up the login Screen again. I can only logon to it in Safe Mode.

I've tried deleting the files from Windows update one by one then rebooting. I've also checked the Netlogon service is up and running.

Please help

thanks in advance

A wrong driver shouldn't log you out, at least I've never seen that one.

My guess since safe mode works is either a virus or some nasty spyware is causing this.

Hi Wdoellefeld

Thanks for your contribution

I've run a scan and there's nothing- no virus no spyware. Any other idea's?
