only 1 logon per user

Does anyone know how to set itup so the a user can only be loged into one client at one time?

eg: user bob is loged on to pc1,User bob tyes to logon to pc 2,user bob is denied access.

I am using standard dos logon scripts at the moments,i am working on useing kix scripts but i am not ace with them! IS there anyothers ways of doining it? Matthew Hankins

which system are u using, ?
if u are using W2K then proceed like shown below:
in AD User and Comput you can display the propreties of the user. than in the Account; just click the button Logon TO.. then type the name of the only computer BOB should access.

no i want them to have access to all pc's,i know how to fo it for just 1,i want it so they can only logon to 1 pc at a time!!!

There is a tool called CCONNECT in the Resource kit. But , you have to have SQL running on a server for it to work...
 
This works this what I use in a simple bat file, one down fall is it does not tell the person anything it just logs them right back off. but I don't have to many problems.

just paste this into a bat file or your existing one
NTNAME %USERNAME%
if not errorlevel 1 goto logon_ok
for /f %%f in ('TYPE %TEMP%\OTHERPC.TXT') do @echo Already logged onto %%f %0\..logout.exe
:logon_ok

The only files you need is logout.exe and NTNAME which you can get off of the Resourse kit, or off the internet.
