Online Export to Excel 5 from CR8 failing

When a report has about 290 pages, 9900 rows, to create a 6MB exported spreadsheet, it fails.
I've checked the Cache and increased it from 5MB to 20MB.

it only fails on 1 of my reports,
and for the largest "Client" parameter selected.

Can anyone help please?

Are you certain that the output is 9900 rows, or is that how many rows are in Crystal?

Very different things, and Excel has a row limit, can't recall what it was in 5 though.

Try limiting the rows to a very small subset by limiting the Report->Record Selection Formula-Record and setting a date to just one day or an ID to just one id, if that succeeds, you're likely exceeding the row limit allowed by Excel.

The Excel spreadsheet has 9900 rows.
I now this because if I run the export on my local machine, it works fine, if I run it online it fails.

(The row limit for Excel is greater than 64,000.)
