I was running OneX/Voicemail on a widows dc server,
Everything was working fine indide and outside local lan, Onex Mobile voip client with presence, flare with presence, etc...

split dns setup on the inside, forwarded ports on the firewall, etc...

For some reason after an upgrade onex server stopped working with no possibility to uninstall, upgrade, or repair (tried everything)
since i dont want to reinstall my whole dc server i ve upgraded to 9.1 and build my own linux app server running voicemail and oneX.

Everything is working inside local lan or via vpn, if i am sitting outside the local lan presence is not working...

My guess is i am missing some extra ports to forward on my firewall for the linux server of new ones that came up with 9.1 release...

You're a brave one!

Instalation of 1XP and VMPro in your SC AND forwarding of different ports from Internet to that server...

I would not have been able to sleep well with that setup.

Got ip filtering on the firewall, been working like that for ages with no hacking incidents whatsoever... :)

Yaze, I just moved my 1X and VM Pro to an Application Server running Linux too, and same thing, OneX mobile is down. Can you point me in the direction for the fix?

Thanks

Been there, done that

You mean you don't even get a connection to oneX or just the presence ?

No connection to OneX from outside/cell network on iPhone. Internal on Wifi works perfect, and it worked fine before I upgraded to 9.1 and moved OneX to Linux on app server. I have Web Collaboration working from outside, and I double checked my existing firewall entries to make sure the new internal IP address is correct.
I havent looked much further into it, I noticed your post and thought I would ask how you corrected you situation.

Thanks

Well if it worked before outside and in, i am guessing you have split dns with two fqdns, dns entrie on the inside should point to the new ip of the app server, your forwarded ports on the firewall should point to that new ip too, (5222,5269,8444,8069,8063,9943) i was missing the last two for the linux server but that was for presence...

And also XMPP Domain name on the linux server is set to the right FQDN ?
