OneBox v7 (OS Server 2003)… have just setup a Route Code, but when dialled the server responds with “please enter your security code” repeats this again, before successfully routing to the appropriate script

Have another OneBox running on Server 2000… Route Codes operate fine on this box.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try to swap to DNIS, Phantom Extension or Trunk...
(for the route code).

///doktor

Thanks Dok, we are currently set at Phantom Extn... DNIS & Trunk instead of asking for security code, returns "does not answer" then proceeds onto the relevant script

Are you programming a night answer for MX-ONE - for operators or groups??

///doktor

I have this one before..
Do you use AVST 7.71 or 7.92??

///doktor

Using 7.50 & is just a plain & simple pilot number for an auto attendant.

Have another box at 7.00 which is fine?

I only use 7.71 and 7.92.
What PBX?

If MD110 or MX-ONE do not have too many diversions...

///doktor

If your PBX is an MD110 or MX-ONE and you use the OneBox for night answer for Operators (RERNUM) make sure that you do not have a mailbox with the same extension number (user mail box) than the number being used for the routing code extension!!

Cheers Dok, but it is most definitely a problem with the OneBox, we do not utilise OP via our MX-One. Have used several DDI’s including the RC currently pointing at OB1, but as soon as I point at OB2 it requests a security code. Have noticed that the problem only manifests itself when dialled internally, no problems when dialled via PSTN.

sounds like you have "use primary logon" checked.
