Onebox Lotus notes Integration

During integration of lotus notes and onebox,i realize an administrator has to create an email account on lotus notes server,which is used to integrate with onebox for unified messaging. Cisco call manager forwards emails directly without creation of an account,also in one of my installation am challenged on how printers send emails via SMTP while in Aastra Onebox,admin has to create an email account on lotus notes server. Is there a way Onebox can forward voice mails-to-email through SMTP support?

Yes, this is possible. And it takes no licenses.
In the Administration module in the Configuration tab, choose System and SMTP/SMS.
Here you can create an SMTP account.
1. Enable Short Message System -> Tic yes!
2. Protocol SMTP
3. Write SMTP server (your own email servers ip-address or hostname (e.g. smtp.customerx.com).
4. user ID could be: no_reply_onebox@customerx.com

For each user set the SMT tab for the mailbox:
Tic yes to enable and allow the SMTP service.
Notify to all messages.
Iclude voice and fax messages.
SMS provider set to SMTP.
In the SMTP field write teh emailaddress of the employee.
(e.g. employee2121@customerx.com)
Tic yes to attach the sound file.

Test by calling in to the user and record a message. Immediately after the message should be seen in the inbox.

Thanks Doktor,it worked,there was difficulties working with full mail server integration since is hosted in germany,and support other branch offices,that why i decided to SMPT,Thanks big though.

This type of email integration allways works, so I prefer it to the licencebased One.
