Hi,

I've recently upgraded one-x portal from 8.0 to 8.1, however, since doing this, the tab in the browser doesn't flash when receiving an IM.

Does anyone know whether there is a way to turn this back on? I've had a look on the one-x admin login, but there doesn't seem to be many options. I can only see idle time and xmpp domain etc.

Cheers,

Dave.

Sorry, I put the wrong body in this post. As well as the above, the time on One-X is also an hour ahead, despite the time on the IPO itself and the server One-X is installed on being correct.

Cheers,

Dave.

Hi

Had the same problem, within the manager system tab, time I was using an NTP time server changed it to the vm pro server and restarted the one x service.

Problem solved.

Then you had a wrong NTP time server configured.
But what i also see sometimes is that it reverts back to GMT instead of +1 in our case.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks, I've changed back to VoicemailPro/Manager and it's sorted it. The engineer we had in must have put in incorrect NTP settings.

Any ideas about the browser tab not flashing when instant messages are received?

Cheers,

Dave.

Time being one hour wrong is a known issue that should have been fixed in the last 8.1, but it wasn't.

You will need to raise this to Avaya via IPOSS. I'm waiting to see if they will do a PB for this through the ticket I have raised.

It should be fixed in the August maint release though.

The time being wrong isn't the issue, as I said in my previous post, I've since fixed that. The problem is that since going to 8.1 the One-X tab in the browser doesn't flash when receiving an IM. This means you have to intermittently check to see if you've received any messages, which kind of takes the 'instant' out of IM.

Anyone have any idea why the browser tab doesn't flash to notify of an IM being received?

Thanks for the update on the known bug Westi.
at least now I know it wasn't my NTP settings at fault.
