I'm setting up one-x portal and testing.
I have it working for the most part.

When testing some features, I get the following error.
Anyone know what it might mean?

An error occurred when connecting to your telephone:

Cannot complete telecommuter registration. Reason provided: Registration Reject reason: resourceUnavailable Invalid product ID is specified. Check the version of switch or license file

Request: setControlMode
Error Source: AcpStationRegistrationException
Error Text: Cannot complete telecommuter registration. Reason provided: Registration Reject reason: resourceUnavailable Invalid product ID is specified. Check the version of switch or license file
Error Solution: No solution available.

Thanks,

You don't have licensing for One-X telecommuter. It is not a free option, it has to be requested and paid for at the time of installation/upgrade.

Hmm. I confirmed with our Avaya rep and he said there is no such thing as a telecommuter for one-x

Avaya one-X® Communicator
Avaya one-X® Deskphone
Avaya one-X® Mobile
Avaya one-X® Portal
Avaya one-X® Speech

He suggested I double check the product ID of the server. Where can I find this?

Hi,
I am new to this forum and having SAME Telecommuter problem with my Onex portal. The ID will be find on Onex portal under system tab. In my case it will be 0000000000.

Please let me know if you find the solution for this problem. Due to severe weather in London, I need to start this mode as early as possible.

Please help me.

Thanks and Regards,
nmp

Double check the H.323 Gatekeeper list associated with your switch connection on the AES. Portal 5.2 requires the use of DMCC licenses on the AES, and DMCC requires an entry in this list.

Make sure you have at least one CLAN address or the procr address in this list.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the support, finally we have up-graded all Avaya onex, Avaya CM and Avaya AES on CM.5.2.1.

It's working now with DMCC licenses on AES.

The other problem I have is, the Touch tone DTMF dial pad from onex portal do not work.

I have opened a case with Avaya and let you know the result.

Thanks,
