One X Portal system is unavailable issue.

I have read documentation that this application should be installed on a server, though, it was installed on windows 7 for a customer of mine. I installed it and at the end of the install it just lets me choose my port server number. I put in the IP address into IE and get the one x portal page. Though, I cannot put any logon credentials in and it says in red 'system is unavailable'. I've restarted the service. I've waited 15 min per the guide. Is it for certain that it cannot work on windows 7? Please let me know.

Can you select Administrator on the top right of the logon screen?

server 2003 and 2008 and 2008R2-64 bit

no win 7 for the server portion

Or the Linux apps server.
Windows xp, vista, w7 or 8 won't work.

i had the similar problem, i tried this on xp, but i was always getting that sign system unavaliable please wait, it started working after i stopped the antivirus program...and it should work on win7 thou.
