Hello all,
First I want to say I have been a "browser" of this site for years and have come across some very helpful information over the years. Thank you!

I am not formally trained in phones but have picked up a lot of knowledge over the last couple of years supporting an IP Office farm. That being said, I have a question about one-X portal setup.

Here is how my setup looks:
primary virtual server (one-X portal runs on this)
secondary virtual server
6 500v2 servers at different physical locations throughout our org, but all on the same layer 2 network. Same vlan.

My issue is when I try and set up a one-X portal user, who has a phone on a 500v2, the system just sits and tries to connect to the server and never does. Credentials are good because if I try using the wrong password it tells me so. One-X portal users work great if they have a phone on the primary server. What am I missing here?

I hope I gave you all enough info. Probably a simple solution for someone who has installed these before.

Thanks!

What type of phone are you using on the IP500V2?

How are the IP500's and SE connected (I assume via a SCN)?

We use J179s.

I am actually wanting this to work without a phone though. Meaning, if someone is working from home, I was going to have them use the WebClient and one-X app through a Citrix session.

It works like I hoped with my account but I am on the primary. I can unplug my phone and just use the app. I even have the Outlook add-in working.

Yes all the 500v2s are connected by Websocket Client SCN.

Not sure what you mean by IP500. There are 8 500v2's and a primary and secondary SE. I think that is what you are asking.

You can login to the One-X admin page and force a usewr synchronisation there.

Also you can check if you can see the users implemented on the IPO500's

reboot didn't fix the issue. I can see the user in the one-x portal. The web client app likes the credentials but the user can not connect if they are not on my primary for some reason.
