One X Portal error after upgrade

Hello!

We upgraded our platform from 8.1 to 9.0 together with VMPRO, CCR and IPO. However, now when we launch the web and go to the one x portal page we recieve "The system is currently unavailable, please wait". We have tried to reboot the service and system with no change.

Any ideas?

wait 20 to 30 minutes for the memory to clear from the One-X portal boot.

wait 20-30 minute before application launch? I cant access the administrator login either, same error.
 
Rebooted the complete server and the ipo itself?

The IPV500 has not been reboted. Isn't that done by itself when upgrading? Anyway I've waitied 2 hours now same message.
 
Are you sure you have upgraded the onexportal? What version do you see in the login screen?

It takes a while for the service to start up and have all components running. Whats the longest you have waited after you got the "error" message

I don't see that as an error message, I just see it as "sit there and wait a bit longer".
 
I am sure it has upgraded, it is now 9.0.2.0. I've waited the entire night now, 7-8 hours. Same error.
 
Is CCR installed on the same server as where One-X Portal is installed?
If yes then you broke it as you should not install it on the same server.

It is not supported but i do not know why.
I have done the same in the past and it will stop working suddenly after an upgrade.
So be prepared for another breakdown somewhere in the past :)

Ok, I would love to see some docs about this or hear an explanation. Otherwise I cannot perform a migration.
 
one-X Portal is a horrible memory hog and one of the symptoms of insufficient memory is one-X not starting. So you may have been close to the limit in 8.1 and over the limit in 9.0.

There is a technical bulletin on the additional requirements and restrictions of having the Windows versions of VMPro, CCR and one-X Portal all on the same server. Basically 6GB of memory minimum and a limit of 50 CCR agents.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
