In One-X Portal 9.0.4.0 build 10, the check box for Desktop Notification cannot be selected when using Internet Explorer 11 or Google Chrome 39.0.2171.95 m. Followed the notes from the Knowlegebase but I still cannot get the check box to be selected. Works fine with Firefox and the Firefox Plugin. Has anyone else had this issue with IE11 and Chrome? Do to Applications the client uses, Firefox is not an option for them. They prefer IE11 but Chrome is acceptable.

Thank you,

It does say directly under the check box:
You will require to download and install a third party plug-in to enable desktop notifications for Firefox.[elephant2]

I just use this: Avaya IP Office Plug-In for Microsoft® Outlook & Avaya one-X Call Assistant.

By use, I mean it starts when I come in and pops up a few seconds after I have answered a call to let me know who is calling in.

BTW: I never run the portal page and while I was checking this for you my computer just screamed out at 100% speaker volume "You have a new message" in a recorded Avaya voice. First time I've ever heard it. I'm in the office on my own and clenched like a grasshopper.
