Hi!

While setting up a new system (IPO 500v2 (7.0.23) with One-X Portal) I stumbled over a problem with the One-X Call Assistant (mark & dial). All functions work as they should (I guess...), but because the system is set up that way that you have to dial zero to get an outside line, most of the numbers dialed by the Call Assistant come short of that zero. Example: The number to dial found on a webpage is 06641234567. When pressing the hotkey (F10 in my case) exactly that number will be dialed. The first zero is used to get an outside line, the rest (6641234567) will be dialed which results in a wrong connection or a wrong number-disconnect. To make the connection it should have dialed 006641234567.

Curiously enough I had more luck with different formats of the number:
+43(664)1234567 Works perfectly - call goes through (One-X portal provides 006641234567)
+43 (664) 1234567 (spaces in front and after the areacode) - works the same
+436641234567 works too with a little help in the shortcodes (+43) (One-X Portal provides +436641234567)
+43 664 1234567 does not work - 0 for outside line is missing (one-X Portal provides 06641234567)
06641234567 does not work either - see above
On call with annother areacode there is a complete differnt outcome:
+43(1)7654321, +43 (1) 7654321, +43 1 7654321, 017654321 all don't work - provided number 07654321 (the areacode is missing)
+4317654321 works - One-X Portal provides +4317654321

Because some calls are working I guess there must be a set of rules how to interpret the phone number. But I can't find it.

Has anybody an idea where to tweak this to get it running (At least for the 'normal' phone numbers (e.g. 06641234567 or 017654321)?

Check your ARS.
If your shortcode is 0N/Dial/N/Main, then your Main ARS should have it attach a 0 to the dialed number...or just dial two zero's when making the call.
0 to activate the ARS, then 05551234567 for the actual number.
Just check the codes in the ARS to make sure that you account for the extra digit (usually is one).

Hi!

In Austria it's usual that you have to dial zero for an outside line. Therefore I have the following settings:
System shortcode: 0N/Dial/0N/Main
ARS: 0N/Dial/NSE/1
When dialing via phone all works well. With One-X Call Assistant on the other hand the dialed number comes short of that leading zero (as described above).
If there was a possibility that numbers dialed via One-X Portal could use an other ARS than phone diales numbers, all could be well.
But I still think this should be tweaked somewhere inside One-X Portal.

We use numbers starting with a 0 here as the area dial codes start with 0, One x does not strip that 0 off, odd, do you have a 0 added as a line prefix so it's stripping it off because of that ? :)
