Does anyone have this working, I have just upgraded the UCM to R9 (nightmare) and am trying to get the VOIP version working. The iPhone One-X mobile client has a connection error that says "VOIP is experiencing a problem in registering to server" any help would be great.
Thanks Mike

Do you have the power user license?
VOIP enabled on the user?
Is VOIP enabled on the One-X mobile client on you I Phone.
Firewall set to forward the RTP ports?

@Okkie26
yes- Power user license
yes- VOIP enabled on user
yes- on client
not sure on the firewall. Will check this.
Mike

Activate TLS on System > LAN1 > VOIP > SIP registrar...

What about the warning for certificates? I don't have any for this.

I Don't know. All I had to do is to tick the TLS checkbox.

But until know I only tested it using an Android phone

Okkie, Android is the only one using TLS (secure connection)
The iPhone is not capable of doing that.

Teletechman, it is possible that your router is blocking port 5060 by SIP alg
If that is the case then change the ports for the remote side to 5070 and 5071(TLS)
Forward these ports instead of 5060 and 5061.
The app can handle this.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

getting back to this after some other work.
TLPeter where do I change the ports in the app? I can change them in the port forwarding no problem.
just for the record this is a Sonicwall Pro 2040 old version and we have the SIP ALg turned off.
Mike

The app does not have port settings, you need to do this on the SIP remote worker settings on the lan port.
The app will adjust by itself.

should I be able to port scan the 5060 or 5061 ports to see if they are open? I have tried a website yougetsignal.com to test this and the One-X ports are open but not the SIP ports.

Hi all,

I have the same problem.

I don't want to use the port 5061 ( TLS) for android, regarding the doc, the android phone will use 5060 if tls is disabled.
I want to use 5060 because i have a SBC in front of my IPO and want to use FENT feature ( more secure)

The error i get is 403 forbiden in the sysmon.

The phone is registred with same error as Teletechman. "partially connected" my translation from french: "the application is working excepted voip feature which had actually difficulties to register to the server ( Error 1:403).

If i activate the wifi and set up the one x mobile to the local address i get the same error, so not a "nat/firewall" error.

I have power user on my user and i've activate the "enable voip client".
In system LAN SIP remote extension is ticked and Domain name is set to a domain name pointing to our public ip ( same as XMPP FQDN in onexportal)

Here is the sysmon trance (extension has been change by "myextn" and domain name by "ourdomain name"

Care to explain how you got it working?

I have the same issue where I can't get the VOIP mode working either internally or externally.

"VOIP is experiencing a problem in registering to server"

I have check all the above is setup correctly.

p.s. I hate Mobile One-X!

I have just ran a system trace and noticed the below...

13:28:40 1421977mS Sip: SIPPhoneReceiver 37 disconnectIndication from tcp, srcaddress 10.1.1.101
13:28:40 1421977mS Sip: SipTCPUser 36 incoming f482dba8 destroyed

10.1.1.101 is the IP the wireless has assigned my phone so this looks relevant.

Anyone have any idea what it means?

i also having same problem with you, its not even working in internal LAN
