Hi,

searched some other threads relating to this but no soln.

I am trying to setup One-X Preferred for IPO on my iPhone but no luck. It worked in seconds from android. I have One-X on the PC and works fine too.

It just keeps spinning then I get an error saying "could not connect to server. Please double check your server settings"

I am connecting using only server IP, login and pwd are correct. Tested those on android and it worked fine. I am connecting to server through internal network so no firewall in the way. Does anyone have this working pls?

Cheers

Known issue, install the latest version from SP5

Hi, was working fine for a while but after a bit I could not connect again. I keep getting a circle in the middle and then it doesn't connect. It says connection refused.

Any idea pls? Really wish to get this working reliably.. hard to recommend to clients if my own doesn't work! heh : )

How much memmory is there in the 1XP server?
I think it needs more.
If you reboot the 1xp server does it work again?

Hi, reset the one-X Portal service but to no avail.

I am using a UCM card. Memory status is 851MB used, 1161MB free so it should be comfortable I guess

Is there any troubleshooting I can do to see where the problem is originating from Pls?

Any help is greatly appreciated to get this functioning reliably

Do you use a fqdn?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Since it is on a UCM card I am giving it the card's IP address in the app 'Server ID'

You can't with iPhones so you will need a FQDN.

setup an a host entry in dns on server and tested it via ping from my PC. this resolves correctly to the UCM card IP. I'm trying his internally for now so I can rule out firewall issues.

I set this FQDN in One-X Portal config interface/configuration/IM/Presence/ XMPP Domain Name

Also put setting in iphone in Server ID. Checked network settings for phone and it is using same dns server as my PC.

Unfortunately issue persists.

FQDN i set up on dns server points to an internal IP. So actually connection is not even going through the router, it is just internal.

Bristian, believe me it should go outside to the FQDN and then routed back internal.
If that works then you know you need to solve the FQDN resolve for the internal network.

Hi, quick update. I upgraded UCM module softawre to v8.1.98-1.el6 thus most recent; and with it came the most recent one-x portal release thus 8.1.93-40.

It was working well and thought of changing XMPP to the FQDN for module. My iphone started to work nicely and all was good until after a while I noticed that IM/Presence was down and could not message. After changing XMPP back to 127.0.0.1 I went back to square one with IM/Presence working fine but cannot connect with iphone again.

Did you encounter this issue pls?

Also am having a bug where certain phones are giving the busy status when they are idle, only until any key is pressed on that phone or receiver picked and put back in place whereas then it like updates its status.

Anyone encountered this too by any chance?

Thanks.
