I have an ip500 v2 R8 with voice mail pro. Voicemail pro has the web mail installed and the server has IIS installed. I can listen to messages perfectly fine through any of the users One X portal on their computers. When they try to listen to the same messages through One X mobile on their iphone the application looks like it is trying to download the message and then after a few seconds will give an error message saying voicemail download failure. The application will show new and messages and sync with the ip office to move messages to the old folder if i listen to them on the desk phone. Not sure what else to try, any advice would be great. Thanks!

Voicemail IP address and settings are already in there. Something specific i should look at?

Do you have the latest version on the iphone?

how many VM's are in the mailbox. we had one last week with like 200 messages and it would time out every time. we cleared the mailbox and it worked right away.

buy a solid phone, i hear the Samsung Galaxy 3 is great

There are issues with iOS which will be solved in R8.1, maybe this is one of them.

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

I have had issues with VM on 8.0 and even a while on 8.1 but was solved in the last two 8.1 trial releases.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Bas,
I ran into a similar issue to campbellsoup06 and your first reply in the thread fixed the issue. Star for you. Z

The weird thing was that vm playback was working before we switched over the voicemail pro from an older server OS machine to a windows 7, not sure how that would affect it. Like i said in one x mobile i can see the messages show up and sync with the mailbox if we listen to them on the phone but the wav file just doesnt want to download for some reason.

It could be that you need to add port 8080 to the website on the Windows 7 pc.
It uses IIS but on port 8080 and not port 80 which is default for a website.
So add port 8080 and it should work.
