I need some help, a few months ago we had a vendor install a Ip Office 500 system. I have been trying to find the One-X mobile software. However, my vendor is telling me it is only in Beta for the IP Office system. Everything I had read was to the contrary that in fact it works on IP Office 500 Release 4.2 +. Can someone validate that and also if that is true how can I get the software needed. I am getting no help from my vendor and they have now begin to ignore. I already have my One-X license in place (bought that from CDW)

Thanks

That's the list I have, may have been updated :)

took a few minutes to find

ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/SoftwarePub/4_2GA_Builds/One-X/One-X_Mobile_IP_Office_Device_Compatibility_List.pdf

at the end of each item there is a download link in the PDF itself.

Plus I posted that nearly ten mins ago HSM :)

Mind you, if you are talking about a softphone version as oppose to this app that just dials shortcodes for you, they are right :)

P.s The One-x licence is for something different altogether, so unless you are running one-x portal you may have wasted your money there :)

Thanks, I found those threads... I was able to get the One-X Portal working fine cause I have the software. When ever I click on the download links for One-x Mobile it says I have to have a PLDS login. So where did you all get your software for the actual One-X mobile? I already have the license installed and awaiting my software.

One note to clairfy I am looking for the server piece itself I guess that would be 1.1.4

WolfmanatHeil, The one-x mobile has nothing to do with One-x portal and also it isn't licenced.
Avaya messed up calling several different things one-x from entire systems to handsets a server/portal and a mobility aid for smart phones this may be causing confusion.
What is this licence you have called and what do you want to achieve with the One-x mobile client?

We are looking to use the IP Office (Check VM, Four Digit dialing, Twinning, transfer calls ect.) with Blackberry's and Iphones.
The server I thought I needed was the One-X Mobile 1.1.4 that you can download here with a login:

When you go to use the Avaya One-X mobile client on a device it wants a server's IP Address. That is where I figured a server comes in to play. I must be confused. Thanks again

As I thought, the vendor was correct, that version of One-x mobile does not work with IP Office ... that's for Avaya Unified Coms ...sorry. But it's mainly Avaya's fault for calling everything one-x it does get confusing especially as there are differnet types of mobile client too :)
