one-x mobile for android app ec500 text file template

Hello everyone,

I recently started using the avaya one-x mobile app for android and was searching around for a onexec500.txt file template. I searched here and couldn't find one, so I figured I'd post the one that I cut and pasted out of the Administering Avaya one-x mobile document, if anyone finds themselves in the position that I was in.

Here is the template: (Just put your company's specific information in where the XXXX's are, the parts that you do not use can remain as XXXX.) File must be labeled .onexec500.txt for the android phone to find the file once you e-mail it to the device and download.

I have been using the template for a few years now and have to admit it has saved me a lot of time when setting up users phones ! I noticed that(the past couple months) when you open the One X Mobile App that a pop up appears reading that it is being replaced by Avaya Communicator ! I downloaded the app and I could not figure out how to use the template with Avaya Communicator ? Instead it offers "auto config from email or web address. Have you ran into this issue as well ?

Yes, I am getting the "Your one-x mobile app has been replaced" message. It is annoying, but I have the user select Ignore. We can't use comminicator as of yet because my CM is Aura 5.2 and I thought I read that communicator requires Aura 6.2. We are moving toward that in a few months so I will post back when I start using that app.

I do not get the pop up anymore. I THINK what I did to stop it was click yes when the popup appears download the Communicator App ( It did not remove One X app) then I just deleted the communicator app. So far so go no more pop up
