Is there a way to enable call waiting for hunt group calls on One-x mobile?

Currently there is nobody in the office, there are 2 users in the hunt group both with one-x mobile, if they are both on a call and a 3rd call comes in the call will just queue with no notification on the mobiles. When they have finished on the call the queued calls are not presented to their mobiles, they will just continue to queue until the caller drops the call.

Hunt group is set to collective call waiting

one user is on iOS and the other android, both have the same issue.

Thanks

that is the problem that needs correcting, not necessarily a call waiting indication on the handset.

to me this is a bug however you may have better luck if you switch the group mode, i would recommend longest waiting as the most appropriate option.

It will have no significant affect on your call handling, if both users are free it will ring one (who should answer)then the other.
if both are busy then there should be no difference to the current operation (apart from hopefully working).

collective ringing is probably making the situation worse anyway because as soon as you have one call ringing both phones will be busy causing your problem to occur more often.

The issue is that both users, are more often than not, both on a call so either way they are losing calls, also with it being a hunt group call the missed calls aren't in the call lists on the one-x client so they have no way of knowing how many calls they are missing or a list of numbers so they can return calls.

OK this is a classic "BOS"* problem.

They either need more people to answer the calls or a means to ensure the calls get handled when there is no-one available.

Voicemail on the hunt group is the obvious solution to this problem, missed calls can then be called back when they become available

Nevertheless the calls from queue should ring the 1XM if the current agent call finishes. If that isn’t the cas Test the same scenario with desk phones and raise a bug if necessary.

Yeah, that's how we wanted and anticipated it to work but unfortunately it doesn't :( I'll test the deskphones once the office reopens in January. It seems that the one-x mobile needs to be ready and available when the call is first distributed for it to ring though.
