Hello Boys

We're making a lot of test with and IPO 500 demo kit (almost all licences granted) and a Nokia E-50.

up to the moment we just have done the Mobile Twinning to a mobile line, and / or to a sofpthone, but we cannot originate calls from the Nokia.

Can the ONE-x work as a tiny softphone on some mobile platforms? or due to its a IPO version it will make almost nothing.

Thx Thx

The one-x software is just for intigrate to the ipo

In fact it is nothing more then dialing a ddi that has a certain FNE code
That FNE code is important

For every FNE code you need a DDI

just use the 1 ddi for FNE00 to give dial tone. user has to have mobility number matched against caller id in twinning. works on sip and isdn.

mr TheTaker

it sounds very better
but i'm not catching it all

you mean that the one-x user dial to the IPO (by data or by voice?)
the IPO validates the CLI
and if there's a match the IPO grants tone to the user
just as if he was on his desk?

Would then be rather for having a tiny but full-fledged avaya softphone on the Nokia to wait for sip extensions and a tiny SIPphone on the Nokia?

For what you want Zebraya, you do in fact want a SIP softphone installed onto the Nokia, I have not heard of many that have been sucessfull with that in the R5 trial :)

yes, pretty much, you access remotely by dialling the ddi. after which you can dial shortcodes, numbers, extensions, etc as though you were an extension of the system. calls are logged to the twinned matched cli user.

plus if you have more than 2 users needing this feature here is a method (at the end) which works out cheaper to set up.
