Does anyone have any hands-on experience with the new One-X desktop telephones? I'm ready to go out with an RFP to upgrade our Definity to Communications Manager and I want to purchase approx 400 new IP phones along with it. I've used the 46XX series IP phones and they work great. I'd like to go with the new One-X phones, but I have never used one (and I can't even try one because I'm not running CM 3.0). I hesitate to purchase the new phones without testing them first, however, if I'm going to spend the money, I'd like to have the latest technology.

Obviously, the sales people say they will work fine, but I was hoping to get some confirmation from users.

Thanks,

We've ordered some and I will let you know how they work out for us.

Me too, please ... They sound great, and definitely look like they are the way to go, but it's scary to use the first generation of users on any piece of equipment.

Plus, when I look at them, I'm just wondering how you keep them from sliding all over when you press the buttons .... the way they stand up like that just seems like it could be a problem. Even the local Avaya office is not on CM 3.0, so I won't be able to see them for myself before I have to have pricing and order placed ...
