One-x Communicator and Presence

I am running One-x communicator ver 6.1.9
Presence works if in communicator I set IM and Presence to manually specify my IM login info.
I'd like to set this to automatically discover my information.
Where does the presence server get the information from when it is set to automatically discover?
I am assuming my info is set wrong in there.

I believe that is in the SIP space where SM logs you into Presence with your handle/communication profile password.

In that context, your extension (SIP handle) and comm profile password to register to SM is the same password as for presence and it works automagically for me when I do it that way. Are you using H.323 1XC with an AES collector in Presence? Or is your 1XC client SIP?

If your station is H.323 - then you must enter the credentials to login to the presence elements

If your station is SIP - this happens automatically
