Since our Migration to Windows 7, we have been unable to use our IP Softphone in "Telecommuter" mode without using "XP Mode". I downloaded One-X Communicator 6.0 from Avaya and installed it on a test desktop without any luck connecting.

The station I was using for test works great with IP Softphone 5.2, but like I said it requires the XP mode to work.

I cannot find any definate answers as to if One-X works with the G3, and if it does, which versions.

I feel like I'm missing something.

Oh, for licensing I have the following:

IP_PHONE: 5
IP_ROMAX: 1000
IP_SOFT: 5

Thanks for any input you can provide.

I don't think your going to get one-X Communicator to work with an Avaya version 11. It's time to upgrade your PBX.

You can run the softphone on Windows7 but only if you load as a 32-bit OS.

One-X Agent & One-X Communicator require a minimum of CM 2.2.

I figured... I wish I had more justification than just the softphone portion...

I guess we'll be using XP Mode for a while. 32bit is waste of time.

Thanks guys!!!

I'm going to bring in some 4600 series IP phones to test...
