Hello,
Call park just does not work on 2 of my CM 6.3 systems.
I checked Avaya support and have followed the following to the letter, which is the same issue:
Doc ID: SOLN230619
Version: 1.0
Status: Published
Published date: 11 Jun 2013
Author: Gergely Baross
Details
• Avaya one-X Attendant any release
• Avaya Aura Communication Manager any release
Problem Clarification
Call park button on one-X Attendant does not show call-park status as desribed in one-X Attendant User Manual
Cause
Configuration issue.
Solution
• In Avaya Communication Manager SAT interface
• "change console-parameters" / on page 2 add COMMON SHARED EXTENSIONS (CSE) which will be user for call park
• "change attendant <attd> / on page 1 update the HUNDREDS SELECT BUTTON ASSIGNMENTS field by adding the CSE truncating the last two digits (if CSE is 1571, add 15)
• In Avaya one-X Attendant Client after logging in press Edit / Work Profiles / Edit / and double click on the associated Work Profile
• Press Edit / Busy Display / internal and add the CSE extension range on the Busy Display Configuration tab and press OK
• Press the Functions and Hotkeys icon
• On the Function tab select "Park" feature, drag n drop it on the selected Hotkey form
• On the Insert parameters add the required COMMON SHARED EXTENSION. (with repeating these steps you are able to add 1+ CSE for call-park)
• Press Close Profile Editing icon and restart the application
From now on you will be able to
• park calls on one-X Attendant by pressing the associated Hotkey(s)
• see call-park status on the Hotkey (yellow means parked calls on that CSE)
• retrieve parked calls by pressing the Hotkey (with yellow lights)
No joy.
Still no light on the Park button, I can't retrieve a parked call by pressing the button again as described above.
I can retrieve the call by dialing the park retrieval code and then the CSE extn number.
I have temporarily got round the issue by having to program park, busy-ind and autodial to unpark keys
but this is very messy and uses valuable keys on the 302 console
Anything I am missing here or does this just not work with one-x attendant 4 and CM 6.3 ????
Thanks.
