Hello

I have two units on SCN, with voice networking.
this weekend we changed the IP Address of both unit, and now the voice networking now only works one way.
Anubody seen this before?

did you also change the ip adresses in your iplines ?
and what about your ip route ?

Yes the IP on the line has been changed and also the IP Route. Data works fine both ways - i.e ping both units.

did you do more then only change the ip adresses ?
changed routers or an upgrade ?
what version are you on etc ect etc

Check out your firewall/router.
Check to make sure the proper ports are open.
Look at the config of the old IP's and see how they are set up.

Can you create shortcodes to route across the link? Does that work?

If that works i would suggest a port blocked somewhere down the line.

If your shortcodes work then you have proved the voip trunk is up and capable of working, its just the voice networking updates that are not being propagated.

For this you can trace under trace options/routing/avrip tx and rx.

You should see the snet and received tally ticking up one by one, you may see that one system is sending the updates but the other system is not receiving anything etc, this again would suggest firewall etc.

Also are your voip trunks set up in a star cfg rather than mesh or partial mesh? They need to be star.

We doing this via an bonded ISDN connection using the two IP Offices, until our lease line is working.

This used to work fine until the IP Address change.
There no firewall on. Units are on 2.1 (67)

Data works fine bothways, so the IP route are working.
Voiceworks fine one way.

You said you changed the IP address of the units and of the IP lines, but didyou change your IP routes?
