I am trying to do something that might be impossible but you folks have worked wonders before.

Lan 1 has IP 10.232.206.59. There are 30 ip phones. everything works great.

Lan 2 has IP 192.168.43.1. There are 10 ip phones. Lan 2 is connected to a local loop to a remote site. On the end of the local loop is a POE switch and then the phones. On the PBX end line goes directly from local loop to Lan 2.

IP routes:
10.232.206.0
255.255.255.0
192.168.43.1
Lan2

192.168.43.0
255.255.255.0
10.232.206.62
Lan1

Phones on Lan2 can make local calls outside the PBX no problem but when they either make or receive a call to a extension on Lan1, there is one way audio.

Any help would be appreciated

Set the gateway address correctly on the phones on both network segments. I suspect it is not on one or both ends.

You shouldn't need to program IP Routes for segments to which the IP Office is directly attached. It know about them already from what is set in the LAN config pages.

Thanks for the quick replies. I will turn "direct media path" off tomorrow.

The phones on the Lan 2 port are directly connected. Would I use the 192.168.43.1 as the phone gateway?

Thanks

Yup

Thanks Guys, Direct Media Path did it.

turning off direct media path just forces the call to use a vcm resource, this is only a bandaid and the real issue still needs to be resolved!

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

It doesn't force a VCM resource, the system will use RTP relay to pass the voice between handsets, no VCM required. When using the system as the router as the OP is then DMP being on/off makes no difference as traffic will traverse the system regardless :)
