I have one user that is unable to receive external emails.
internal send/receive: works great
external send : works great
external receive: not working

This user is the only one in are network.

any ideas...

Thanks in advanced!

So if you send a message out from this user, and someone tries to reply, what kind of NDR do they get back, if any?

Do you have spam filtering software?

Does the user have any non-standard characters in the e-mail address?

check spam filter and have nothing incoming for this address
nothing from email address being quarentined

user standard - just like everyone else.

deleted email account and recreated.

still unable to receive external email.

Is the user's primary SMTP address your internal or external SMTP domain?

internal

our stmp connector is pointing at our spam filter

thanks again

The user's primary smtp address should be your Internet smtp domain. i.e. if you have an AD domain, let's call it "domain.local" and an Internet domain, "domain.com" then "domain.com" should be the user's primary smtp address.

its set to my internet smtp domain like everyone else's...

this is weird!

Thanks chipk for your responses...i need all the help i can get!
