I have one SIP ddi doesn't seem to be working, it is set up exactly the same as the others and goes to the same hunt group but it just plays an engaged tone.

This is the message I get on monitor.

Any ideas?

Are you sure it is part of you did range

Can you screengrab this number from the voiceflex portal, with its invite settings?

| ACSS SME |

I am not sure what you mean by 'screen grab it'.

This SIP number was a separate ISDN main bearer number to the other numbers before it was brought over to SIP so I don't know whether that has anything to do with the fact it doesn't work. All numbers are now on the same Voiceflex sip trunk and all are going to the same line group on the IPO.

I have resolved the issue for now by forwarding all the calls on the Vflex platform (on the non working number) to a working SIP Ddi on the IPO but that is not really a long term solution.

Thanks for your help,

I think what he means is log into your provider portal and where it shows that DID take a screnshot (hit print screen and then paste it to a image program mspaint works fine for this). Then save it as a file and post it here.

My guess (and assuming Pepp77's guess) is that this DID is not correctly associated with your SIP line.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

DDI must be on the trunk otherwise no INVITE would happen on this system if it wasn't.

My guess is you don't have an Incoming Call Route for this DDI or it is incorrectly setup.

If this was an ISDN number, is it still setup as the ISDN line group ID and not the SIP ID??

I have checked the line group ID and incoming call route and it is set up the same as the others. I have tried to route it to other hunt group and also checked that the invite format is the same as the other numbers on the vflex portal.

Okay, the error you are receiving is not one you would get if the number wasn't programmed on the IPO either completely or against the wrong Line ID.

If you are confident that on the voiceflex portal the invite format is correct (ie national format) and the SIP trunk assignment is correct then you need to get Voiceflex to get a trace running whilst you make a test call to the number so they can try and spot the issue.

Thanks Pep I will contact VFLEX later today

What do you have in your URI settings for this trunk?

Jamie Green

A cause 1 means the call arrives in the IP Office but IP Office cannot process the call as there is no target set for the number.
So focus on Incoming Call Route and forget all aother suggestions as the trunks settings are fine and there is no issue on the provider side.
A easy chack is to create a shortcode like SC=02085420555, TN=<a group or user telephonenumber>, action = Dial extension, Line ID =0.

I would agree look at how you have the URI programmed. I saw this old post from Intrigant.
In your URI enter in the "Local URI" a * and make a Incoming Call route without a DID number and enter the same line ID as set in the URI, target it to a extension and see what happens.
