Hi All,

I have a peculiar problem whereby just one client PC (running XP Prof.) can't browse to network printers. All other client PC's are fine and can see printers with no problem.

I have checked that nothing is being blocked by firewalls/anti-virus etc. etc. but can't see anything different on this PC compared with the others.

If anyone has any ideas I'd be most grateful!

And a search for the machine shows it up:

Start , run, browse, network places, entire nework, workgroup

?

Yep, the machine shows under Network Places and I can get to the point using the Add Printer Wizard where I can see the client PC that has the printer attached (I have checked that it has been set to share) but it won't let me expand the PC so that I can see the printer...

You might want to do an IP reset on the machine to eliminate the possibility of corruption with IP being the cause.
Do a google search on "ip reset" for the parameters for a reset.

Thanks guys, a combo of IP reset and checking the firewall settings seems to have got everything working again... many thanks all round...
