One Number, Multiple destinations.

Is it possible (If so, how) ? To call a number on the CUCM and have it ring on phones on the CUCM cluster AND have it ring external to the CUCM at the same time.

Reason. We have multiple systems. CUCM and Avaya RED. We have teams that are split across sites/systems and need to be able to share the same Team number. So when you dial extension 1234 it needs to be able to rin on both the CUCM and Avaya systems.

No the best way is move all users to one system. Or set up a RNA timer that will ring the cisco phones first, then go ring the AVAYA phones if noone picks up.

 
Thanks for the quick response. I will have to look at another method as I can't allow calls to go to one site before another. Sales managers would crucify me. :)

By my understanding, you can also do like this:

Have a Hunt Pilot 1234 with the following DN in the Line Group:
1001
1002
1003
1004 ...

The Hunt Pilot is set to broadcast, ie, all the DNs will ring at same time.

1. 1000 is your number which you want to dial.
2. Set 1 DN, eg, 1004 to Call Forward All, and put the number to reach your Avaya system.

When you will call on 1234, Cisco phones 1001, 1002, 1003 will ring.
1004 will forward towards your avaya.

Did anyone think to consider using Single Number Reach ?
If I understand the original requirement, SNR would seem to be a perfect fit.

Can someone provide a down and dirty HOW TO on Single Number Reach?
It is my understanding that a user must be built as a USER in CUCM and that this must have Mobility Enabled. Also, a softkey must be added to the desktop device. What are the steps required to enable SNR from a single device to a single off-net number?
