Yes, it's still working as stated in my last thread. But now, the new receptionist is asking about 2 simultaneous calls coming into the console.

There seems to be only one place for her to put the first call on hold, thus meaning she can't grab the other call until after she's transferred the first.

Is there a way to program another "soft key" or something on that set? This is on a 61C.

Again, I'm learning this system as I go - haven't been to training on it yet obviously - so any help you could provide would be just groovy.

Thanks again all.

Tommy
how about CALL PARK for the first call

Colin

Could you go into detail on the call park idea?

Thanks!

When the console puts a call on hold the next call will not be presented until she hits RLS. By hitting hold and RLS she could have as many calls on hold as there are Loop keys.

Park is another great feature. She could park the call and page the user to pick up. there is a timer involved so have the operator needs to use this feature with that in mind.

Ok, I'll look into the call park idea. But I have one more for ya, about the Loop keys.

Any way I could check to see how many there are (not enough..lol), and/or program more?

Thanks again, Colin. You've been an incredible help! :)

Reusser - That worked. You da man!

At first I was doing RLS+HOLD at the same time. Duh! lol

But after a cigarette and some thinking, I tried it the way you meant it.

Thanks again guys. You make me look like a star. LOL
