One extension, Two mailboxes not allowed on BCM50

Hi All...I am having an issues with forwarding mailbox 100 to a an extension that already has a mailbox assigned to it(i.e mailbox 100 to ext 223)...have already looked into the FAQ's and follolwed the steps on doing so, but when Logged into mailbox 100 and I press 6, get an error message Not Allowed, anyone aware of this error, probably something minor...Thanks

What exactly is it you want to do?

Are you trying to forward a message from mailbox 100 to another mailbox?

I think this sounds like you want somebody to cover reception.

Option 6 is Off Premise Notification (to notify somebody of a message by phone, mobile or pager).
This option is only available to certain classes of service (COS) on older vmails or a COS can be edited such as Callpilot (what you have) to allow it.

Check the Setup and Operation Guide foe Callpilot to see what COS allows Off Prem Notify or edit one.
Also check the chart to see how often the notification should try and use that COS.

In the mailbox 100 setting you would want to use Internal 223.

You have to change the COS of mailbox 100. By default it is 7, which does allow off prem notification.

Seems like the COS number needs to be changed to allow redirect, I will give that a shot...Thanks guys..

Not only do you have to make sure that the class of service is correct but you also need to make sure that you have programmed the Outdial in the setup of the mailbox. Off Premise Notification won't work without this.
