one excel spread sheet taking a long time to open 1

One of the user in my accounting department is having trouble opening up one excel spreadsheet shared by the rest of the department. It takes a few minutes before it opens.

-It is not a large or a very complex spreadsheet.
-everyone else can open it with no problem.
-i can open up other excel files with no problem on her machine.
-if i log on as a different user, i still get the same problem.

If it's machine-specific, then get your desktop support to tune it up. You might also try the Windows Forum.

That has happened to me before.

Solution for me was, create a new spreadsheet paste a copy of the problemed spreadsheet into the new one, then save.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I tried both ideas. Doing a system tune up didn't work, however, copying the spreadsheet and pasting it to a new spreadsheet did the trick.
