Here is a strange one.

Just discovered that one of our clients won't backup one of its drives (the c:\ drive works) it says its a success and backup of 2 files even tho' there are loads and if you look in networker user there is nothing. Its the same if you run a full backup.
I have run a backup from the client via the command prompt and it does the same thing. When i ran the backup via networker user on the client it worked.
This has been doing this for a very long time i have now discovered we used to be running 7.1.1 and we are now running 7.4.2 and its still doing it.

Any ideas ?

Mike.

I think this is an easy one. It looks like it is following a directive to skip a file system completely. However, if you say that the command line not even works, this does point to a local directive file (nsr.dir) in the root directory of this partition which skips all files and directories. Have a look ...

Yep that was it, now i am going to find out who put it there and give them a slap :)

Cheers.
