On Hold (Backup Failed)

This is the message that shows in the activity monitor

On Hold (Failed)

But there is no reason why this failed in the log and if I go to restore and select something then I see the most recent date that I ran the back-up.

Can someone explain this

Make sure that overwrite if no media is appendable. I had this problem last week and that seemed to work.
