Im trying to export/import database from one server to another using Oracle DBA Studio. When i try to export Oracle ask for a OMS, what is it and where or how do i set it up? thanks..

OMS (Oracle Management Server) is a task/process that needs
a repository (set of database objects) in an Oracle instance. I run my OMS on a Sun Solaris. You can also run it under MS Windows/NT/etc.

To quote the HELP in DBA Studio:

Before you start the Oracle Enterprise Manager
Console, you first need to:

Create the Oracle Enterprise Manager
repository in a designated schema in a
database that is accessible in your network.
The repository is created during the installation
of Oracle Enterprise Manager v2.x using the
Enterprise Manager Configuration Assistant.

Start the Management Server. This process
connects the Management Server to the Oracle
Enterprise Manager repository.

The Management Server is started
automatically when you start Oracle Enterprise
Manager. You can verify this, or start the
Management Server manually, through the
Services option of the Microsoft Windows
Control Panel.

Start the Oracle Intelligent Agents on the
managed nodes. To use the Job and Event
systems, an Intelligent Agent must be running
on the node that you plan to run jobs or monitor
events. (DON'T NEED FOR DBA Studio!)

Configure Paging services for the Oracle
Enterprise Manager system. (DON'T EVER ADMIT TO DOING THIS!)If you want it to send messages to your pager if desired. Note:
After the Console has been launched, the
Notification Preferences for administrators need
to be determined.

For information on setting up Oracle Enterprise
Manager, see the Oracle Enterprise Manager
Configuration Guide.
