OLE SERVER

Need help!!
I have an error appearing when i try to insert a picture into a record. It was working previously and now its has an error. the steps im taking are

-Insert Object.
-Select Choose from file.
-Select the location of the Picture.
-Click OK.
-Following error displayed.

"THE CONNECTION WITH THE OLE SERVER WAS LOST, OR THE OLE SERVER ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR WHILE YOU WERE USING IT. RESTART THE OLE SERVER, AND TRY THE OPERATION AGAIN."

How Do you restart the OLE server. Im working on a standalone machine. I have no clue can someone assist in any way?

Don't you have by chance a Norton AntiVirus with Script blocking ?
